Marc began his career in financial recruitment with Hays Accountancy and Finance in 1996. After 5 successful years and having reached a Senior Management position he branched out on his own to start Accountancy Action. Marc now oversees the Operational side of the business with his core focus on Accounting and maintaining a first rate IT infrastructure. Outside work he is mostly found following the fortunes (misfortunes) of his favourite football club at White Hart Lane.

Having worked in accountancy recruitment for over 14 years Lawrence has built up an enviable client base and a huge amount of market knowledge. Although in denial he’s gained a reputation within the business as a "workahololic" and any of Lawrence’s time out of the office is taken up by his wife and his 4 boys.
Chris Truman

Chris has worked in accountancy recruitment for nearly 10 years and joined us in 2005. He now oversees the entire day to day recruitment function of Accountancy Action (incorporating and Action Blue), across our office network. He also deals with much of the Senior interim market given his client and candidate network. Despite being a life long Liverpool fan, he’s been welcomed into the business (for his knowledge as opposed to his team providing Spurs with 6 points every year!).
Lisa Drew

After a successful career at Badenoch and Clark, Lisa joined us in 2006 on the strong recommendation of a good client. Under her leadership the embryonic Milton Keynes office has gone from strength to strength. Lisa’s main strength is the development of long term relationships with Blue Chip clients. Due to her phenomenal success in MK Lisa has been given the role of Regional Sales Manager across the company. Lisa’s main passions are her dog Louie and husband Neil (in that order).
Dan Hutchings

Another Hays graduate, Dan joined us in 2003 to become our third member of staff and bring some much needed structure (and height) to the company. Although Dan has covered many roles for us over the years, he is most at home covering the Luton and Dunstable areas which he has done now since 2006. Naturally working in this area Dan has become something of a guru in the Aviation industry. Though Dan has built up an excellent reputation as a recruitment consultant we also use him sparingly as a back up Accountant as he has a 1st in Maths from Exeter University.
James Swift

James began his career working for Hays Accountancy & Finance in 2004 and in August 2006 finally saw the light and joined the team at Accountancy Action.
He has steadily worked his way up within the business and now manages our London office where he is overseeing the rapid growth across his area. He builds superb relationships with his clients by offering strong consultancy and just being himself!
