Head of Finance

A fast growing Tech company is looking to strengthen their finance function by bringing on board a strong qualified FC/Head of Finance.

The role is to come in and take responsibility for the UK function and have scope to grow into a Regional FD over the next couple of years.

You will repost into the CFO, and have one direct report to manage.

The company has established itself as an industry leader, and has a stronghold on the UK market – the plan is to grow into more international territories, with a big focus on the US.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

• End-to-end management of the finance function
• Drive financial strategy, implement scalable processes and fundraise at a fast paced second hand clothing marketplace.
• Key member of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO
• Business partner with other department heads to drive accountability, growth and cost saving initiatives
• Month-end financial reporting for the company, including KPI tracking and variance analysis against budget, providing senior management with a monthly performance overview
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting to align the company goals and strategic vision. Produce scenario based reporting to aid decision making and drive performance
• Manage of all company secretary/statutory filings (year end accounts, and contract negotiations
• Monthly insightful trading update to the board and key investors
• Payroll

The role will quickly expand to include:

• Financial model management
• Data & analytics – managing key data models and analytics
• Contracts & supplier management
• Board reporting
• Investor reporting
• Fundraising support
• Capital management (debt, project finance etc.)

The ideal candidates will have the following:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Start-up/scale-up experience
• Keen eye for detail with a strong record of improving processes
• Have a keen interest in personal and professional development
• Experience using Xero
• Advanced Excel
