UK Finance Manager (FTC) Contract
Seeking a qualified Finance Manager for a 15 month FTC for an internationally recognised Music Production Company.
You will be a key senior team member of the International Finance team. This position will report directly into the Group Financial Controller and is responsible for management and control of the UK entity financial ledgers to ensure the production of accurate accounts in accordance with the current accounting standards and reporting and tax filings requirements. Oversee and manage accounting system, ensure finance processes are current and are being followed, and take an active part in various ad-hoc projects.
Duties:
- Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations
- Manage the month-end close process for the UK and selected international entities
- Prepare and submit UK and Moss VAT returns
- Manage and oversee the UK and selected international entities balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts for the UK and selected international entities
- Support and work closely with Group Reporting Manager to provide commentary to senior management on variances
- Provide detailed financial information for effective production of year end accounts in line with statutory requirements and support annual audit
- Review and approve bi-weekly supplier payment runs for the UK and selected international entities
- Support and train the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams on accounting principles, systems, processes, and procedures
- Be the point of contact and manage all banking administration and documentation
- Support Group Financial Controller with ad hoc projects
- Manage SAP accounting system to support finance processes for the Group
- Oversee year-end close process in SAP accounting system for the Group
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a minimum of 3-5 years PQE
- Strong excel and analytical skills
- Previous experience working for an international business
- Experience in managing and training team members
- Highly IT literate – Knowledge of SAP Business One and Salesforce being an asset
- Strong and effective communicator
- Strong skills in leading tasks, taking initiative, and providing solutions where needed.
- Great attention to detail
- Independently minded and able to challenge when appropriate
Salary is £60-70,000 depending on experience
Discretionary bonus of up to 10%
