Up to £45,000 per annum dependant on experience

Our client, a well-known Events & Hospitality business, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis. They are looking to have someone start before the end of January initially on a temporary basis but with the view to going permanent.

The successful applicant will report directly into the Head if Finance and will be responsible for producing management accounts but also providing insightful analysis across various KPIs.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Producing management accounts to strict deadlines
• Manage 2 Accounts Assistants
• Reconcile and manage all balance sheets
• Reconcile intercompany balances
• Accruals and prepayments
• Fixed asset register control
• Review and post payroll journals
• Deal with all queries relating to the management accounts
• Deal with queries from stakeholders
• Prepare VAT returns
• Be a main point of contact during audit

What the client is looking for:

• Experience of producing full management accounts
• Revenue recognition experience
• Business Central experience (preferable, not essential)
• Experience of working in a creative business
• Immediately available to start on a temporary basis
