Are you a Finance Manager looking for hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days remote working a week? A fantastic group organisation based in Watford are seeking a permanent Finance Manager to join them. This role will be responsible for financial activity and managing the balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the UK entity’s balance sheet and Income Statement, ensuring its accuracy and integrity across all areas.
  • Maintain detailed reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Foreign currency accounting and reporting.
  • VAT return preparation and reporting to HMRC.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and enhance financial controls.
  • Assisting with improvement projects and systems improvements.
  • Managing a finance team

Required Skills and Experience:

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified/ finalist.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of UK GAAP.
  • Staff management
