The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing the financial aspects of a diverse residential property portfolio, ensuring service charge accounts are accurate, compliant and delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage service charge and client accounts across a varied residential portfolio.
• Prepare and issue service charge, ground rent, insurance and rent demands.
• Produce quarterly and year-end service charge accounts within agreed deadlines.
• Complete bank reconciliations across multiple client accounts.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly income and expenditure reports for clients and Property Managers.
• Assist with the preparation of trial balance information for year-end accounts.
• Build strong relationships by responding to client, tenant and supplier queries professionally and efficiently.
• Support the mobilisation and financial onboarding of new property developments.
• Produce financial reports and analysis to support Property Managers with decision-making.
• Carry out daily banking activities while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the efficiency of the finance function.

About You

You’ll be an organised and proactive finance professional with previous experience in property or service charge accounting and a passion for delivering an excellent service.

You’ll Ideally Have

• Previous experience within Service Charge Accounting or Property Accounting.
• A good understanding of service charge legislation and property management processes.
