Assistant Accountant | Royston | Up to 35,000

A permanent Assistant Accountant positon for a growing business based in Royston. Salary up to 35,000.

Your New Company

You’ll be working for a growing multi-national technology business based in Royston.

Your New Role

You’ll be working as an Assistant Accountant and will be responsible for;

• Processing all payments – incoming and outgoing
• Allocating cash
• Answering any queries
• Bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Supporting the credit control function with any internal queries
• Posting journals for month end including prepayments and accruals, deferred income, payroll, and intercompany transactions
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with providing commentary on profit analysis and financial reports
• Supporting the wider finance team with any ad hoc duties

About You

You’ll need to be;

• A self-starter, eager to learn and grow within a business.
• AAT qualified to at least level 3
• Strong Excel skills are essential – knowledge and previous use of pivot tables and formulas

What You Will Get in Return

You’ll be paid up to 35,000 per year, with 25 days annual leave. Study support is also on offer if you wanted to pursue further qualifications, along with private healthcare.
