My client is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a 12 month fixed-term contract.  This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business and be an integral part of the team.  You will be a confident self-starter who is used to working in a hands-on environment.

Key duties will include:

• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing supplier payment runs
• Chasing customers for outstanding payment of invoices
• VAT returns
• Processing monthly Payroll
• Providing ad-hoc support to the team

You will demonstrate a proven track record of carrying out a similar role in order to make a smooth transition into the role.  In return for your skills you will receive great benefits including hybrid working.  This role requires availability to start work at short notice.
